98-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch Shines Bright in India – Part 5
PART 1 PART 2 PART 3 PART 4 PART 5 PART 6 PART 7 PART 8
June 22, 2017 – After the Yoga Ratna Awards and International Day of Yoga events, 98-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch led a series of yoga classes in Bangalore sponsored by SHWAASA. She had a dynamic morning session (Part 4) and then we did some shopping. Tao has a couple hundred saris and and SO many items from India over the years, but she still likes to check out the scarves and buy gifts.
After Tao rested a bit, she taught an evening yoga session at the Shangri-La Hotel. Since it had gotten a little cool, we held the class in a ballroom instead of the open air terrace. I was delighted to assist and demonstrate again along with our host Shwaasa Guru.
