August 13, 2017 - On Sunday, Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch turned 99 and celebrated with a birthday bash at the Mansion on Broadway in North White Plains. Over 130 people from various parts of Tao's life -- yoga, ballroom dancing, wine -- came out to share the evening.
May 19, 2016--It was a perfect day for the Spring Luncheon at the beautiful Wainwright House in Rye, New York. 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch was one of the honorees for their annual fundraising event and I was delighted to accompany her. Wainwright House is the oldest non-profit, non-sectarian holistic learning center in the United States.

January 17, 2016--The inspirational and historical life of 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch as shared in her new autobiography, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master, can now be found at the White Plains Library in Westchester, New York.
The long-awaited autobiography of yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through The Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master, is almost ready for release!! The first book will be presented to Tao at her 97th Birthday Party on Sunday, August 9th with a few copies to flip through. About two weeks after that, we’ll receive the entire shipment.
On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch enthralled a packed audience at Wainwright House in Rye, New York--the oldest holistic center in the United States and the home of the work of personal development pioneer Norman Vincent Peale.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2015, 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch was on the Steve Harvey Show (Episode #3088). I had fun going to Chicago with her for the taping, despite the freezing temperatures. As usual, Tao was shining her light on everyone there – on set and behind the scenes. She amazed Steve and the audience, and Tao really liked Steve. She thought he had a genuinely good spirit.
On October 25th, 2014, a group of yogis got a treat attending a photography workshop – hosted by yogi-photographer Robert Sturman and my dear teacher/mentor 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch. Robert’s tips such as shoot low so you get a greater, fuller perspective really make a difference. We tested out those tips first at the Fred Astaire Studio in Hartsdale where Tao teaches and then we went to the Edgemont High School in Scarsdale.
