97-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch Shares Teachings at ClubFit
June 11, 2016 – 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch taught a packed house at ClubFit in Briarcliff Manor, New York, and I was delighted to moderate a discussion on her life at the end of practice. The event was hosted by the Yoga Teachers Association (YTA), a non-profit dedicated to continuing and improving the quality of Hatha Yoga teaching . Tao was one of the original organizers in 1979 and served as president. She has, for the last 29 years, been its Program Director and is still President Emeritus.
