Tao Hosts David Swenson Workshop

June 12, 2016-- Two incredible teachers together in one place... it was divine! 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch hosted a workshop with one of her favorite people, acclaimed Ashtanga Yoga teacher David Swenson. He taught two back-to-back workshops at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Hartsdale, New York. Since he is one of the top teachers in the world, the sessions were packed as he shared his knowledge of Ashtanga, inversions and how to "fly."

Sturman Photography Workshop

On October 25th, 2014, a group of yogis got a treat attending a photography workshop – hosted by yogi-photographer Robert Sturman and my dear teacher/mentor 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch. Robert’s tips such as shoot low so you get a greater, fuller perspective really make a difference. We tested out those tips first at the Fred Astaire Studio in Hartsdale where Tao teaches and then we went to the Edgemont High School in Scarsdale.
