Tao Blows into Kansas City

From Thursday, August 27th through Saturday, August 29th, 97-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch taught a series of workshops in Kansas City. On Thursday evening, she led "The Eternal Energy of Yoga"--a master yoga class at Mark Blanchard's Yoga Kansas City. She explored the potential of the body to review, heal, and revitalize. On Friday morning, Tao appeared on Fox 4 Kansas City with Nick Vasos and Kim Byrnes.

Sturman Photography Workshop

On October 25th, 2014, a group of yogis got a treat attending a photography workshop – hosted by yogi-photographer Robert Sturman and my dear teacher/mentor 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch. Robert’s tips such as shoot low so you get a greater, fuller perspective really make a difference. We tested out those tips first at the Fred Astaire Studio in Hartsdale where Tao teaches and then we went to the Edgemont High School in Scarsdale.
