On Saturday, November 22nd, 2014, 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch taught a workshop at the Integral Yoga Institute (IYI) in New York City. It was a packed house of over 60 people who were enthralled with Tao's special way of explaining core postures and energy dynamics. On October 25th, 2014, a group of yogis got a treat attending a photography workshop – hosted by yogi-photographer Robert Sturman and my dear teacher/mentor 96-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch. Robert’s tips such as shoot low so you get a greater, fuller perspective really make a difference. We tested out those tips first at the Fred Astaire Studio in Hartsdale where Tao teaches and then we went to the Edgemont High School in Scarsdale.
