98-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch Is Special Guest at Book Party
April 27, 2017 – A gorgeous New York apartment and a great crowd was the setting for a very special book party for 98-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch hosted at the home of jewelry designer and philanthropist Joan Hornig and her husband George. Tao and I met Joan at the United Nations for Women’s Entrepreneur Day in November 2016. I moderated the panel with Tao, Joan and Rachel Cohen Gerrol (Co-Founder of Nexus Global Youth Summit, PVBLIC Foundation & The Survivor Initiative). After the session, Joan offered to host this book party. We were honored!
I facilitated a conversation with Tao and the guests, who were literally on the edge of their seats. It was a delight to see Deborah Roberts of ABC News, film producer Beverly Camhe, and a number of other notables. As usual, Tao was surrounded by people who wanted signed copies of her award-winning autobiography, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master. Many thanks to Joan and George, as well as Andrea Lubinski, and Iris and Regina Lee for help during the event including many of the wonderful photos.
