97-year-old Yoga Master Tao Porchon-Lynch and Mother-Daughter Writing Team in Chicago to Receive 2016 IPPY Award

DAY 1  DAY 2A  DAY 2B  DAY 3

May 11, 2016– On Day 2 of our trip to Chicago, 97-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch, journalist Janie Sykes Kennedy (my mom and writing partner) and I went to the BookExpo America to see our award-winning Dancing Light on the shelf of the New Title Showcase and in the IBPA Booth. It was very satisfying to see our book displayed after all of our hard work–four years, 75 hours of interviews, over 1000 hours of work and almost 135,000 words! Tao had an autographing session in the main area which ended up being very popular despite the fact she was a last minute addition.

Below are some pictures from the first part of Day 2. You can Like and Share each image, as well as spread the light by sharing this link and these hashtags: #ThisIs97 #TaoExp #TaoPorchonLynch.
